I really enjoyed the movie fiddler on the roof. I thought it was intereseting and really awesome how strict the jewish culutre was in their traditions. I think that if our families followed some traditions that close that is would help bring people together. Another thing i really found cool is how the jewish people observe the sabath and use it totally for a day of rest.

I had really great time discussing the Jewish culture in class. It was interesting to see how everyone interpreted the text and how they felt about it. Some of it still doesn't make sense to me, but then again Christianity doesn't makes sense to some other religions.

Mrs. Davis. I don't know about the rest of the class, but I am sorry about the other day. I know it must really suck to put in time and effort into something and have very few pay attention or care. Again, I don't know about the rest of the class, but I plan to put in a much better effort in on Monday.

I didn't know where this comment would fall under so I put it here!

Paulina, thank you for your response and your apology. I think we are all going to be just fine. I am really excited about our discussions this week! We are getting into the real stuff now. By the way, if I forget to tell you all, whoever has Elizabeth Limor, she passed away this weekend.

I have seen Fiddler on the Roof before, but I think that this time I really payed attention to the life of the Jewish people. I think that the song Tradition was a great example of how Jewish communties were back then. Fiddler on the Roof was a great movie to guide us in the direction of really learning about Jews.

I know that I don't perticipate in the discussions, but I will eventually start to join in and share my thoughts. I think that I am more of a listener and I like to hear what other people think.

I agree with Paulina. I'm sure she speaks for the whole class. We are sorry that we don't pay attention to some of the things that your teaching us. I think that we will all start to get interested in the topics and learn a lot. I know I want to get things out of this class. I hope you will forgive us all. :)
